Mr. Ramesh Sharma

The experience of Mr. Ramesh Sharma, a former IPS officer with 35 years of distinguished service, is second to none.
He retired at the top of the police hierarchy as the Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh.
He also served as the Director General of Economic Offences Wing (EOW), MP with distinction, where he investigated several high-profile and complex corruption, bribery and fraud cases.
Mr. Sharma served in the Ministry of Home Affairs (IB), Government of India, for 20 years.
He is currently the Executive Director of Legasis Pvt. Ltd.
He is the co-author of the book, ‘Combating Corruption in India’, that was published by Cambridge University Press.
He served as a Diplomat at the High Commission of India in Ottawa, Canada for four years.
A fervent speaker at various national and international conferences, Mr. Sharma speaks on a wide range of topics, including bribery, corruption and fraud, besides security, counter espionage, counter terrorism, public policy, motivation etc.
Well versed in French, he successfully obtained a degree in Public Administration from the prestigious National School of Administration (ENA ऐना) Paris that trains the top bureaucrats of France.
He is a recipient of the highest honours of the Government of India, including the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, the Prime Minister’s Medal for Meritorious Service and the Police (Special Duty) Medal with First Bar for difficult postings in J&K, Nagaland and Manipur.
