1. Mr. Anil Khandelwal

Dr Khandelwal (PhD in management) is a well-known transformational leader of India who is credited with the transformation of one of the largest public sector banks- Bank of Baroda in just three years from decline to the most powerful and valuable brand during his tenure. His brand of leadership is based on building Intangibles like culture, people, brand, governance, leadership and technology.

​

Dr Khandelwal is a prolific writer and has authored/edited eight books. His bestselling book, Dare to Lead is one of the most authentic narrations of his transformative interventions. The Bank of Baroda transformation story has been extensively written about by academics and has found a place in articles on leadership in India, mentioned in Harvard Business Review articles. Leading Management institutes like IIM Ahmedabad and Bangalore have written case studies on the transformation of the Bank of Baroda during his time.

He is a multi-awarded leader having received Asian Banker, Singapore’s highest honour, and Lifetime achievement award for leadership in the financial sector, the only Indian to have received this honour so far. He is also a recipient of the Lifetime achievement award from the National HRD Network, India for his contribution to the HR profession. Economic Times has rated him among the 100 most powerful CEOs of India consecutively for three years. His brand of leadership and work is globally recognised. Peter Cappelli (Wharton) calls him an “HR hero”, Dave Ulrich, a global expert on HR calls him an “Exceptional CEO” and Tom Peters (Author, In search of excellence) calls him a “Wise Leader”

He has been an international keynote speaker on Leadership and Governance at many global and National conferences. He has extensively written on leadership and governance issues in corporations. He has addressed the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) chapters of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Melbourne, Kuwait, and Bahrain and has done leadership programmes in Georgia and Durban. He has been a UNDP consultant to the Banking reform commission in Tanzania and also a visiting professor at the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines.

The government of India appointed him as a member of the first Banks Board Bureau, which selected Non-Executive Chairman and full-time directors of Public sector banks and financial institutions. He also chaired a committee on HR in Public sector banks, popularly known as the Khandelwal committee.

He has been Chairman, of the Academy of HRD, Ahmedabad, Chairman of the centre for Microfinance, a Ratan Tata-supported Non-profit organisation and Board member of GAIL India, a Maharatna company. He has been on the Boards of several management institutes like Narsee Monjee Institute of management studies (NMIMS), Mumbai, School of Inspired leadership (SOIL), Gurgaon, ITM University, Navi Mumbai, ICFAI ( Advisory group), Navi Mumbai. He has also been a senior strategic advisor to global consulting firms like Accenture, Booz and Company, Hewitt and KPMG.

He is on the Board of SBIL, Kolkata and also on the central training committee of SBI.

2. Mr. Manish Choksi

Manish Choksi is currently the Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of Asian Paints Limited. He joined Asian Paints Limited in the year 1992 as an Executive and has grown in ranks by holding various positions across Sales, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Chemicals, HR, and General Management in the Company.

​

A leader in the IT community and the former Chairman of INDUS, a 1100+ company network of SAP users.  He has served on the advisory boards of IBM's Collaboration business, the Asia Pacific Executive Advisory Board of SAP APAC, member of the Global Chemical Executive Advisory Board of SAP SE, and a member of SUGEN, a global executive network of all the SAP user groups worldwide.

He is an active angel investor with a particular interest in investing in companies that champion cross leverage of physical and ecommerce models with a focus on consumers and data/analytics. He is a Member of the Global Advisory Board of Chiratae Ventures (formerly known as IDG Ventures).

In addition to Asian Paints Limited, he currently serves as an Independent Director on the board of Vedant Fashions Limited and MSL Driveline Systems Limited and as a Director on the board of Germinait Solutions Private Limited and Ashimara Housing Private Limited.

3. Ms. Mary Gentile

Mary C. Gentile, Ph.D., is the Creator/Director of Giving Voice to Values; (formerly) the Richard M. Waitzer Bicentennial Professor of Ethics at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business; Senior Advisor at Aspen Institute Business & Society Program; and consultant on management education and leadership development. Among numerous other awards, Gentile was inducted into the Thinkers50 Hall of Fame in 2021 and named one of the “Top Minds 2017” by Compliance Week; one of the 2015 “100 Most Influential in Business Ethics” by Ethisphere; and one of the “Top Thought Leaders in Trust: 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award Winners” by Trust Across America-Trust Around the World, January 2015. She was previously “short-listed” for the Thinkers50 2019 award for “Ideas Into Practice” (having also been short-listed in 2017). Giving Voice To Values also won the Bronze Medal in the 2017 Reimagine Education Ethical Leadership Awards.

From 1985--95, Gentile was a faculty member and manager of case research at Harvard Business School and one of the principal architects of HBS’s Leadership, Ethics, and Corporate Responsibility curriculum. She co-authored Can Ethics Be Taught? Perspectives, Challenges, and Approaches at Harvard Business School and was a Content Expert for the award-winning interactive CD-ROM, Managing Across Differences (HBS Publishing).

Gentile earned her Bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary and her MA and Ph.D. from the State University of New York-Buffalo. 

4. Mr. AK Sen Gupta

Dr. A K Sen Gupta is a known Teacher, Researcher, and Thinker in the parlance of Higher Education in India. A Ph.D. in Commerce, he is the Founder & Convener of the Higher Education Forum (HEF), the largest community in the space of Higher Education in India with more than 3,500 members. This is the largest think tank for Higher Education in India. HEF is involved in a number of capacity-building activities for two of the most important stakeholders of education namely, Students and Teachers. 

​

Dr. Sen Gupta is the Mentor of the newly established Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s K M Munshi Institute of Advanced Studies (KMM-IAS) operating from BVB Navi Mumbai Kendra. He is also the Vice Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Navi Mumbai Kendra. 

​

Some of his past assignments include Professor & Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai, one of the top business schools in the country, Director & Mentor, of SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS), Navi Mumbai, another top-ranked management institute on Pan-India basis, World Bank Consultant and instrumental in setting up National Banking College (NBC) as the apex banking training & research institute for Sub-Saharan English speaking Africa in Ghana, Africa and Professor at National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, India. He started his career as a Banker with Punjab National Bank and worked there for more than a decade in various Managerial Capacities.

Dr. Sen Gupta is an avid researcher & writer with 6 books to his credit and more than 50 research articles in National and International Journals.

5. Prof. G. Ravindran

A former global leader of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management), Ravi, has deep global experience in IT, FMCG, BFSI and manufacturing, both as a leader of people & businesses. Actively led 'next' initiatives, winning acclaim from Economic Times for creating 'Golden Companies' of the future. New insights include non-hierarchical organizations, employee structure, multi-facet diversity, proactive workforce readiness, and why collaboration always beats the competition.

​

Prof. Ravi is also a Director at Parrot Solutions Pte, Singapore (a cloud-based SaaS company; Advisor to Focus-band (Neuro-feedback, Mind-training devices & processes for champions), and an Advisor to Evolution Sports India.

​

While an accomplished sportsman and self-taught musician, it is the non-conformist Ravi who pioneered the use of the outdoors, music and sports for leadership development in the stiff corridors of corporates & teaching institutions.

​

The apple of his eye, however, is the Goodness project…setup as a compassion rating agency anchored ‘beyond religion’ on Universal Ethics for a better world.

6. Mr. Pradeep Saxena

Pradeep has had an extensive career in International Banking, Information Technology, and latterly as a Consultant and Specialist Advisor. He engages with SMEs and start-ups and advises on corporate strategy, governance, management, and business development. He assists businesses to grow across industries spread across financial services, management consulting, IT, and education. Among his assignments, he serves as the Executive Director of the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), a prospective independent national University for Innovation, which has been established by a group of publicly-minded citizens. It seeks to focus on the challenges and opportunities of India’s urbanization. His earlier career spans International Banking and Information Technology. Beginning with Grindlays Bank, he moved on to senior management positions in GlB and AMEX, Banks in various countries culminating with Executive Director at Merrill Lynch International and finally Managing Director, AP at ING Barings. Moving to Information Technology, he was President of eFunds International, an IT company in Phoenix, Arizona

7. Mr. Pramod Solanki

Dr. Pramod Solanki comes with a strong academic background, with an early career at premier B - Schools. His first assignment was with IIM, Ahmedabad as Academic Support staff. He subsequently joined Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai as a Faculty Member. His corporate career began in 1994. Since then, he has worked in diverse sectors like IT, Pharma, Oil & Gas - EPC Projects, Manufacturing, Finance, and now Consulting. Major assignments have been with Tata Consultancy Services, Sun Pharma, L & T in India, with Churchgate Group in Nigeria where he headed the Corporate HR function. He headed the Learning & Organization Developments function at Sun Pharma and at L & T Hydrocarbon. In a career spanning over 35+ years, Mr. Pramod has designed and successfully instituted systems and practices across the HR spectrum and has led the HR function at operational and strategic levels. 

​

Since June 2016, he runs his own consulting firm called Performance Enablers, offering services across the HR spectrum. Some of the focus areas of service include Leadership Effectiveness Interventions, Executive Coaching, Organization Development, HR Advisory Services including formulation of the HR strategy to facilitate growth, Advisor/consultant to the management teams, Assessment / Development Centers, and nurturing High Performance Culture. Mr. Pramod holds Masters and Doctoral degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is an Executive Coach certified by International Coach Academy. He has coached a wide range of clients- from entrepreneurs to corporate executives across levels and students. He designs and hosts HR Conferences, and leadership dialogues and has been a moderator and a speaker at no. of conferences/panel discussions. He writes on a variety of HR issues. A passionate trainer-facilitator, Mr. Pramod has strong convictions about HR’s role in transforming organizations.

8. Ms. Shanu Saksena

Ms. Shanu Saksena, is the Head of Global Ethics and Compliance, India Subcontinent, and Company Secretary at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited. She has successfully created in house compliance cockpit to manage 8000+ third-party due diligence, contracts, and third party compliance about Principal Employer Liability. 

​

With over 2 decades of industry experience, she has conducted several audits on regulatory–no finding, clients– no finding, and internal – no severe or critical finding and has managed relationships with Senior External Stakeholders (Joint Ventures; Listed Companies; Clients). She has been awarded the Gold Award for Risk Management and Culture Building in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Ms. Saksena has led company-wide regulator audits and has also implemented company-wide awareness and training programs.

​

She has successfully led the functions of Corporate Governance and Secretarial for large groups including listed companies; has managed – Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, and Integrations; and set up Green Field Companies. She has also been in charge of managing Ethics and Compliance across South Asian Countries– Philosophy-Prevention Detection Response.

9. Ms. Sucheta Shah

She is the Promoter Director of Atlas Integrated Finance Ltd. They are into Wealth Management and also cover the entire gamut of financial services

She is an Independent Woman Director on the Board of The Indian Hume Pipe Co. Ltd,  Jayant Agro Oils Ltd, Ishedu Agro Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Landmark Cars Ltd., and Automark Motors Pvt Ltd.  She was on the Board of Tata Housing Development Co. Ltd. ( 2015-2021)

She was the Chairperson of the Maharashtra State FICCI MSME sector. (2018-2020)

She has been associated with FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) since 2003. She was the Chairperson of the FLO Mumbai Chapter for the year 2011-12 when she launched the project, SWAYAM- a support cell for Women Entrepreneurs and took it to the National level’

She was The Founder and Director of  Grameen Initiative For Women from a Section 8 Company. The main objective is the upliftment of Women in our society. (2008-2019)

She was a director with Patan Co-operative Bank for 10 years from 1999-2009 and managed their debt investments.

She has done her Masters in Management (Finance) from S P Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai with a specialization in Finance, and her B.Com from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics.

10. Dr. Sunita Chugh

She has, for the past 3 decades (started on the shopfloor of Crompton Greaves as Human Resources Manager) trained many leaders, managers, and teams of Fortune 500 and Indian organizations. Her focus has been on Personal, Leadership, and Organizational Transformation. She works on Change Management processes, through the lens of Leadership. She is passionate about Gender Work & Inclusion, Talent Management, Culture and Values of Organisations, after gaining her Ph.D. from MDI Gurgaon in 2008.  Ongoing assignments include Diagnosis & reporting, Management & Leadership Researching, Training, Designing and Delivering training and organization development interventions, and one on one and group coaching.

Founder of the Centre for Empowerment and Employability Education, she works as Strategic Advisor & Partner, with large Government and Private Sector organizations, also, with the MSME sector, corporate managers coaching training and development, and 100+ managers in the last 2 years during the Pandemic. Online coaching has made these numbers possible. Currently working with 10 organizations developing their leadership pipeline. Also, work closely with founders as a retainer with starting-up and medium-sized companies in setting up their HR and talent - processes, policies, programs, plans, purpose, and philosophy. 11. Ms. Tara Subramanium

Tara Subramaniam, currently an Independent Director of four successful private sector companies across multiple verticals also acts as a Conciliator in Maha-RERA while being a Founding President of the National Real Estate Development Council’s (NAREDCO) women’s wing, Mahi, has over four decades of enriching Industry Experience.

​

Tara, educated as a Lawyer from the University of Mumbai has extensively worked across Banking, Real Estate, Project Financing & Business Development, and other sectors. Starting her career with Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) in 1983, she successfully made her way to top management before moving to NBFC of JM Financial Group. The J M Financial Home Loans Limited, which specializes in offering mortgage loans in the affordable housing sector, was established with a significant contribution from Tara. Later, she actively contributed to the creation of Dwello, the JM Group's Real Estate Broking division.

​

Retired in 2019 after four decades of successful corporate adventures, she is now acting as an Independent Director of JM Financial Home Loan Ltd., Tips Industries Ltd., Delta Tech Gaming Ltd., and Restaurant Brands Asia Limited (formerly known as Burger King India Limited).

​

She has been a member of the NAREDCO governing council for the past 7 years with the goal of using her knowledge to assist the Real Estate Sector. NAREDCO was formed in 1998 under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs with an aim to provide the government, real estate industry, and the general public a legitimate platform to address their concerns and find effective solutions for issues plaguing the real estate sector. She is also affiliated with Maha-RERA as a Conciliator, promoting peaceful conflict settlement between Real Estate Promoters and Allottees.

​

Ms. Tara’s passion for Women’s Empowerment and Entrepreneurship led her to be a Founding President of NAREDCO Mahi, the women’s wing under NAREDCO. At NAREDCO Mahi, she has been working to provide a platform to empower and strengthen women entrepreneurs in the Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Allied Products / Services sectors. In a short duration, the team of NAREDCO Mahi has grown and expanded across the country. Through Mahi, she has been instrumental in driving initiatives like “Nirmal Jal Prayas” in association with PlumbEx India and the Pink-Collar Initiative that focuses on the education, upskilling, and empowerment of the women working in pink-collar jobs. 

12. Mr. Vivek Patwardhan

Mr. Vivek began his career with Tata Electric Companies [now called Tata Power] and worked for a brief period with Herbertsons Ltd. He worked with Asian Paints for over thirty-three years and retired in May 2009. He worked as an Executive Coach and HR Consultant till 2019. He now devotes his time to an NGO, ‘Aroehan.’ 

​

Career 

​

Mr. Vivek was working as the Corporate Industrial Relations Manager of the company before he assumed charge as the Head of HR, a position he held for twelve years. As Vice President-HR he was the Global Head of HR for Asian Paints and its group companies including its international subsidiaries in 20 countries. 

​

In his role as Head of HR, he helped create a work culture of coaching and development. He actively participated in promoting organizational values and particularly in the organizations acquired by Asian Paints after the year 2000. He represented HR at the highest level within the organization and was a member of the Management Board. 

​

Since May 2009, he has worked as an independent OD consultant and Executive Coach with many MNCs and large organizations in the Retail, Steel, Engineering, Pharma, Foods, and Chemicals industries. Vivek was associated with SHRM India as a subject matter expert. 

Mr. Vivek has been devoting his time to the social cause. He is a trustee of an NGO, ‘Aroehan’ since 2018. 

​

Mr. Vivek was appointed as a Director on the Board of HyTech Engineers P Ltd. in Sept 2021. He served as an Independent Director on the board of MSL Driveline Systems Ltd. [formerly Mahindra Sona Ltd.] from 2015-19.

Human Resources 

​

Mr. Vivek’s HR blog posts are extensively read and popular on the subject. Vivek received the Best Blogger Award of IndiBloggers in 2013 and again in 2017. He recently authored a book ‘The Lulu Duologues’ which is an anthology of his blogs. He has also edited a book on Industrial Relations for Asian Paints.

Learning 

​

Mr. Vivek attended training in June 2006 at London Business School on Strategic HRM. He was sponsored by The Employers’ Federation of India to participate in the program on ‘Mainstreaming Gender Equality’ at International Labour Organisation [ILO], Turin, Italy. 

 

Professional Standing, Honours and Awards 

​

In November 2006 Vivek was appointed as ‘TISCO Chair Professor of Industrial Relations at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai for a period of one year. Vivek has been teaching the elective of ‘Conflict Management’ at Tata Institute of Social Sciences since 2007. 

​

Vivek was felicitated by his Alma Mater [Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies, affiliated with Mumbai University] in March 2007 for his contribution to the field of Industrial Relations. He was again felicitated in July 2018 by conferring the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award by his alma mater. Mr. Vivek was given the ‘Lifetime Service Award’ by National HRD Network, South Gujatar – Surat Chapter in June 2022.  He was also felicitated by the Rotary Club of Thane Central for his outstanding vocational achievements.

Government Committee Member 

​

Mr. Vivek has been nominated by the Employers Federation of India to represent them on the Government of India’s Central Advisory Board for Minimum Wages. (2019) 

​

Rotary and Aroehan (NGO) 

​

  • Mr. Vivek was a member of the Rotary Club of Thane Metro and served as the President for 2017-18. 

  • Mr. Vivek was recently invited to join the Board of Trustees of ‘Aroehan’. It is an NGO that aims at the holistic development of tribal communities through an integrated approach addressing the issues of health, education, livelihood, and effective governance. 

  • Mr. Vivek has raised more than Rs 1.25 Cr for the social cause championed by Rotary and Aroehan.

13. Prof. Vijaylakshmi

Prof. Vijayalakshmi is a doctoral fellow from MDI, Gurgaon. In her career spanning over twenty-five years, she has held senior positions in corporate and academic institutions. She has led several research projects funded by international organizations including IFAD, World Bank, DFID, IDFC, and national organizations including NABARD, CII Foundation, and ICICI bank. She has several national and international publications to her credit. She is Chairperson, Vrutti (www.vrutti.org), Research Advisor for the Banyan Academy of Leadership in Mental health (www.balm.org), and member of IRB for Dvara Research Foundation. She has trained thousands of managers across various organizations such as Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank, LnT, Kobelco, Toshiba, IOCL, Hyundai Motors, and Hero Motors, to name a few.
