Shiv Kumar is an Academic & Leadership Consultant and one of India’s earliest architects of student engagement ecosystems in management education.

With 30+ years of experience, including a 24-year leadership journey at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Shiv specialises in academic governance, leadership development, alumni and stakeholder partnerships, and institutional strategy.

 

A Marketing MBA and Law Graduate, leveraging strategic communication with legal precision.

At ISB, he founded and scaled Student Experience across campuses, designed leadership and experiential learning frameworks, strengthened international partnerships, and contributed to admissions growth for long-duration programmes.

A mentor to 5,000+ MBA and Executive learners, Shiv brings a practitioner’s mindset, systems thinking, and vivid storytelling to leadership forums worldwide. His talks explore the interplay of leadership, culture-building, institutional branding, and student wellbeing.
